THE
CABINET OF AHMADINEJAD AND IRAN
The Iranian
President Mahmud Ahmadinejad travels around together with
his cabinet as if they were tourists since the day he came
to office. He has been to as many countries as the even can
not imagine. It is said that he has been to the 23 provinces
out of 30 provinces and almost traveled to 160 cities within
a period of 13 months. Meanwhile, it is wondered when the
government of Iran is working on a project for the benefit
of the country apart from “being a touter of war.”

Ahmadinejad
keeps on repeating that “all of the Iranian people supports
nuclear energy and they will defeat their enemies (the USA
and Israel) in order to garner support for the wrong policy
he pursues in the speeches he made during his trips. He also
takes care to please his electors and promises to solve the
economic problems. However, there is no concrete step taken
towards this. With the atmosphere of war, the life of people
is getting more difficult.
Lastly,
what Ahmadinejad said in the USA where he went on a trip “to
challenge” does not go beyond of being a touter of war. In
fact, it is not possible for a country’s people to support
war with another country for the sake of “the passion of
the rulers”. As a matter of fact, the Iranian people with
common sense apart from his few supporters who gather in the
squares during Ahmadinejad’s trips do not approve such
“meaningless war.” For, the Iranian people only wish to live
humanely.
The Iranian
Administration that does not want to hear this wish
intensify its pressures against people who see the only
solution in democracy and defend the minority rights.
Putting many people defending democracy under detention by
being charged with acting as agent, the closing down of many
newspapers and the pressures it exercises against the ethnic
groups who are his own citizens indicates the intention of
the administration obviously. Still the Iranian people see
the liberation in democracy.
It is time
Ahmadinejad came to reason and preferred the method of peace,
reconciliation and tolerance in order not to drift the
Middle East to a new chaos and cul-de-sac. Otherwise, the
innocent Iranian people will suffer from the consequences of
war and some people will certainly benefit from this
situation.
